PGA Money List Top-10 - Week 14Money leaders, World Golf Ranking and Fedex standings for this weekWith his win at the Shell Houston Open, Adam Scott jumped 19 spots to land securely within the American PGA's Top-10. Only five Americans among the leading money winners.
1. Vijay Singh - OWGR, 7th, Fedex Cup standing, 1st - A T11 finish this week allowed Vijay to maintain the #1spot. Just under $200,000 separates him from Tiger. 2. Tiger Woods - OWGR, 1st, Fedex Cup standing, 3rd - The World #1 was idle this week. With the Masters Tournament next up, expect him to reach #1. Although he's expensive, Tiger would be a good one to have on the fantasy golf team this week. Chances are (mathematically he's the overwhelming favorite) he'll win. 3. Charles Howell, III - OWGR, 15, Fedex Cup standing, 2nd - Howell was also absent from the Houston Open. As well as he's been playing this year, expect the Augusta native to come home near the top on Sunday at the Masters. 4. Phil Mickelson - OWGR, 4th, Fedex Cup standings, 4th - Phil also took a tour break this week, but he managed to drop a position in the Official World Ranking. By his standards he's not been at top form, but the defending Masters champion will make a solid run at defending his title this coming week. 5. John Rollins - OWGR, 46, Fedex Cup standing, 5th - Innactivity was even good to Rollins this week, as he moved up three spots in the OWGR without picking up a club. He's been a solid performer all year. As for the Masters, in his last two appearances (2003 and 2004) he managed a 46th place finish and a missed cut. He could turn things around in his trip to Augusta this year. 6. Adam Scott - OWGR, 3, Fedex Cup standing, 6th - The Shell Houston Open champion returned to his true form this week. Although he has been one to speak of how much better Tiger is than everyone else, his words may be a bit of gamesmanship. He is too talented and confident to write himself off in competition with Tiger, or anyone else. He'll be in the Top 5 at the Masters. 7. Aaron Baddeley - OWGR, 26, Fedex Cup standing, 7th - Badds sat out the Houston Open and dropped in all three rankings. He's in the middle of one of his strongest years. A Thursday pairing with Tiger Woods and Paul Casey at the Masters Tournament will give him the perfect opportunity to test his mettle. 8. Geoff Ogilvy - OWGR, 8th, Fedex Cup standing, 10th - Idle this past week, Oglivy should be gearing up for a strong showing at the first Major of the year. Look for an improvement upon last year's 16th place finish. 9. Henrik Stenson - OWGR, 6th, Fedex Cup standing, 12th - The Match Play champion didn't play in the Houston Open. Limited experience, including a Missed Cut last year, at Augusta National doesn't look good for Stenson. He is, however, having a good year. He's a toss-up. 10. Mark Calcavecchia - OWGR, 58, Fedex Cup standing, 8th - According to his results, the 47-year-old Calc is having one of his best years in some time. Since a fourth place finish in 2001, he has two missed cuts (2002 and 2006) and three times he didn't play. Calc's another toss-up. Another one to watch this week is Jose Maria Olazabal. In 19 starts at Augusta National, he has two wins, five top-fives, eight top-10's, and 13 top-25's. Last year he finished T3. He's 88th on the Money List, but the Masters is like his second home. 32. Boo Weekley - OWGR, 114, Fedex Cup standing, 30th - He didn't get an invitation to the Masters Tournament, but never fear, he'll be there next year.
